Sniper Bot

Automatically snipe new token launches on Solana DEXs. Configure your strategy, set your filters, and let the bot buy tokens the moment they launch.

🤔

What is Token Sniping?

Token sniping is the practice of automatically purchasing newly launched tokens as quickly as possible after they become available for trading. When a new token launches on a decentralized exchange (DEX), early buyers often have an advantage as the price may increase rapidly as more buyers enter.

Manual sniping is extremely difficult because:

  • You need to constantly monitor for new launches
  • Transaction speed is critical - seconds matter
  • You need to evaluate token safety quickly
  • Human reaction time can't compete with bots

The SMAUG Sniper Bot automates this entire process, monitoring for new tokens and executing buy transactions within milliseconds of a token launch, giving you a significant edge over manual traders.

⚙️

How SMAUG Sniper Works

The SMAUG Sniper Bot operates in several stages:

1

Monitor Liquidity Pools

Continuously watches for new token pools being created

2

Apply Filters

Checks token against your configured safety filters

3

Execute Buy

Sends a fast buy transaction with MEV protection

4

Monitor & Auto-Sell

Tracks price and auto-sells at TP or SL targets

🔄

Supported DEXs

SMAUG Sniper supports the major Solana decentralized exchanges:

🚀

Pump.fun

The most popular launchpad for new meme tokens on Solana. Simplified bonding curve with automatic liquidity migration.

💎

Raydium

Solana's largest AMM. Supports both standard AMM pools and CPMM (Concentrated) pools.

☄️

Meteora

Advanced DEX with DLMM (Dynamic Liquidity Market Maker) and DAMM pools for better pricing.

🐕

Letsbonk

Fast and fun launchpad focused on meme tokens. Quick sniping with minimal filters needed.

Configuration Options

The sniper bot offers extensive configuration options organized into four main categories.

Wallet Setup

Configure how the bot connects to your trading wallet.

OptionDescriptionDefault
Master WalletUse your connected SMAUG master wallet (recommended for security)Enabled
Custom WalletProvide a separate private key for trading-
Standard RPCFree RPC endpoint, adequate for most use casesSelected
Turbo gRPCPremium 95% faster execution (+0.25 SOL)-
Custom RPCUse your own RPC endpoint (Helius, Triton, etc.)-

Buying Settings

Configure how the bot executes buy transactions.

OptionDescriptionDefault
Transaction ExecutorJito Bundles (MEV-protected) or Standard submissionJito
Buy AmountAmount of SOL to spend per snipe (0.01 - 10+ SOL)0.01 SOL
Buy SlippageMaximum allowed price deviation (higher = faster execution)40%

Slippage Tip

Higher slippage means your transaction is more likely to succeed during volatile launches, but you may pay a slightly worse price. 40% is a good balance for most snipes.

Selling Settings

Configure automatic selling behavior.

OptionDescriptionDefault
Auto-SellEnable automatic selling when TP/SL targets are hitOn
Take Profit (TP)Sell when token gains this % in value15%
Stop Loss (SL)Sell when token loses this % in value40%
Sell SlippageMaximum slippage allowed for sell transactions40%
Price Check IntervalHow often to check token price for TP/SL2 min
Auto-Sell DelayMinimum time to hold before allowing auto-sell2 min

Token Filters

Filters help protect you from potentially risky tokens. The bot will skip tokens that don't match your filter criteria.

OptionDescriptionDefault
FreezableSkip if token authority can freeze transfersOff
MintableSkip if more tokens can be minted (inflation risk)Off
ImmutableOnly buy if metadata is locked (can't be changed)On
LP BundledSkip if liquidity was bundled with launchOff
Has SocialsOnly buy if token has Twitter/Telegram/WebsiteOff
Min Pool (SOL)Minimum liquidity pool size to consider5 SOL
Max Pool (SOL)Maximum liquidity pool size to consider500 SOL
Max Dev WalletSkip if developer holds more than this % of supply10%

⚠️

Filter Trade-offs

Stricter filters mean safer tokens but fewer opportunities. Very strict settings may cause you to miss legitimate launches that don't meet all criteria.

Quick Strategies

SMAUG provides pre-configured strategy presets for different risk tolerances:

❄️

Conservative

Risk: Low (3/10)

  • Buy: 0.01 SOL
  • TP: 25% / SL: 15%
  • Strict safety filters
  • Best for beginners

💸

Balanced

Risk: Medium (5/10)

  • Buy: 0.05 SOL
  • TP: 50% / SL: 30%
  • Moderate filters
  • Good risk/reward

🔥

Ultra Safe

Risk: Minimal (1/10)

  • Buy: 0.005 SOL
  • TP: 15% / SL: 10%
  • Maximum protection
  • Very strict filters

📊

Session Stats

While the sniper is running, you can monitor your performance through the session stats panel:

⏱️

Total SOL earned from sells during this session

📈

PnL

Net profit/loss for the current session

📋

Step-by-Step Guide

Follow these steps to start sniping tokens:

1

Navigate to the Sniper Page

Go to /sniper or select "Sniper" from the navigation menu. Choose your target DEX (Pump.fun, Raydium, Meteora, or Letsbonk).
2

Configure Your Wallet

Click the "Configure" button to open settings. Under the Wallet tab, select your Master Wallet or enter a custom private key. Choose your RPC type.
3

Set Buy Parameters

Under the Buying tab, set your buy amount and slippage. Choose between Jito Bundles (recommended) or Standard transaction execution.
4

Configure Auto-Sell

Under the Selling tab, enable Auto-Sell and set your Take Profit and Stop Loss percentages. Adjust the price check interval as needed.
5

Apply Filters

Under the Filters tab, configure token safety checks. Enable filters that match your risk tolerance, or use a Quick Strategy preset.
6

Start Sniping

Click "Start Sniper" to begin. The bot will monitor for new token launches and automatically execute buys that match your criteria.

💡

Tips & Best Practices

RPC Quality

Use a quality RPC endpoint for better success rates. Free RPCs often have rate limits and slower response times. Consider Helius, Triton, or QuickNode for best results.

Start Small

Begin with small buy amounts (0.01-0.05 SOL) while learning how the bot behaves. Increase position sizes once you're comfortable with the system.

Monitor Your Session

Check the Live Feed regularly to understand what tokens are being bought and skipped. This helps you fine-tune your filters for better results.

⚠️

Risk Management

Never snipe with more than you can afford to lose. Token launches are highly volatile and many new tokens fail or rug. Diversify across multiple snipes.

💡

DEX Selection

Different DEXs have different characteristics. Pump.fun is best for meme tokens, Raydium for established projects, and Meteora for advanced liquidity strategies.
