Volume Bot / Market Maker

Generate organic-looking trading volume for your tokens. Execute multiple buy/sell transactions across different wallets to boost visibility and liquidity.

🤔

What is a Volume Bot?

A Volume Bot (also known as a Market Maker Bot) is an automated tool that executes coordinated buy and sell transactions to generate trading volume on a token's liquidity pool.

Unlike a sniper bot that aims to profit from early entry, a volume bot's primary purpose is to create activity and visibility for a token. This is commonly used by:

  • Token launchers wanting to establish initial trading activity
  • Projects looking to improve their visibility on DEX aggregators
  • Market makers providing liquidity and tighter spreads
  • Traders creating the appearance of organic trading interest

📈

Why Generate Volume?

Trading volume is one of the most important metrics that traders look at when evaluating tokens:

🔍

Discovery

High-volume tokens appear in 'trending' lists on DEX aggregators like Birdeye, Dexscreener, and Jupiter.

💧

Liquidity Depth

More trading activity means tighter spreads and better execution for real traders.

Social Proof

Traders are more likely to invest in tokens that show active trading rather than dead pools.

📊

Technical Signals

Volume is a key indicator for technical analysts and trading bots that scan for opportunities.

⚠️

Ethical Consideration

Volume generation should be used responsibly. Creating fake volume to mislead investors about genuine interest can be considered market manipulation. Use this tool for legitimate market making and initial liquidity provision purposes.

⚙️

How SMAUG Volume Bot Works

The Volume Bot orchestrates coordinated trading across multiple wallets:

1

Find Liquidity Pool

Discovers the token's pool on your selected DEX

2

Load Maker Wallets

Import or create multiple wallets for volume generation

3

Execute Trade Sequence

Runs buy/sell cycles based on your configured pattern

4

Log Results

Tracks all transactions with success/failure status

🔄

Supported DEXs

The Volume Bot supports major DEXs across multiple blockchain ecosystems:

Solana Ecosystem

🚀

Pump.fun

Bonding curve & PumpSwap

💎

Raydium

CPMM Pools

☄️

Meteora

DLMM & DAMM Pools

BSC Ecosystem (BNB Chain)

🥞

PancakeSwap

V2 & V3 AMM Pools

4️⃣

Four.Meme

Meme Token Launchpad

💡

Multi-Chain Support

SMAUG Volume Bot now supports both Solana and BSC ecosystems. When using BSC DEXs, make sure your wallets are funded with BNB for gas fees instead of SOL.

🎛️

Configuration Options

Token & DEX Selection

Start by entering your token address and selecting the target DEX.

OptionDescriptionDefault
Token AddressThe token contract address (Solana mint or BSC token address)-
Chain SelectionChoose between Solana or BSC (BNB Chain)Solana
DEX SelectionSolana: Pump.fun, Raydium, Meteora | BSC: PancakeSwap, Four.MemePump.fun
Find PoolClick to discover the liquidity pool for the token-

💡

Pool Discovery

The bot will automatically detect the correct pool type (e.g., Meteora DLMM vs DAMM) and whether a Pump.fun token has migrated to PumpSwap.

Wallet Management

Import or add multiple wallets for executing volume trades.

OptionDescriptionDefault
Add WalletManually add individual wallet private keys-
Import WalletsBulk import multiple private keys from a text file-
Query AssetsCheck SOL and token balances for all loaded wallets-
Max WalletsMaximum number of wallets that can be loaded20

Wallet Strategy

Using multiple wallets makes volume appear more organic. Distribute SOL (for Solana) or BNB (for BSC) across 3-10 wallets for best results while keeping gas costs manageable.

Volume Settings

Configure the amount and frequency of volume trades.

OptionDescriptionDefault
Volume AmountAmount for each buy/sell trade (SOL for Solana, BNB for BSC)0.01 SOL / 0.01 BNB
Random VolumeEnable to randomize trade amounts between min/max rangeOff
Volume Min/MaxRange for random volume amounts0.005 - 0.02 SOL
Brushing TimesNumber of complete buy/sell cycles per wallet10

Execution Settings

Control timing and ordering of trades.

OptionDescriptionDefault
Task IntervalDelay between each trade (in seconds)5s
Random IntervalRandomize delay between tradesOff
Execution OrderPattern for buy/sell executionABABAB

Execution Order Patterns:

AAABBB

All buys first, then all sells (looks like accumulation then distribution)

ABABAB

Alternating buys and sells (most natural looking)

Random

Completely randomized order (organic but unpredictable)

Fees & Priority

Configure transaction priority and fees.

OptionDescriptionDefault
Priority FeeAdditional fee for faster transaction inclusionMedium
Custom PrioritySet a specific priority fee in SOL-
Bribe TipExtra tip when using MEV protection (Bloxroute)Medium

🛡️

MEV Protection

MEV (Maximal Extractable Value) protection ensures your transactions aren't front-run or sandwiched by other traders.

Native (MEV OFF)

Standard transaction submission through public RPC. Faster but vulnerable to MEV bots that may front-run or sandwich your trades.

🛡️

Bloxroute (MEV ON)

Protected transaction submission via Bloxroute's private mempool. Prevents front-running but adds a small bribe tip cost.

When to Use MEV Protection

Enable MEV protection when generating volume on tokens with active trading. For very low-liquidity or new tokens, native submission may be sufficient.

Cost Breakdown

Understanding the costs involved in volume generation:

OptionDescriptionDefault
Service FeeSMAUG platform fee per brush cycle per wallet0.0001 SOL
Transaction FeeSolana network fee (~0.000005 SOL per tx)~0.00001 SOL/trade
Priority FeeOptional fee for faster inclusionVariable
Slippage LossEstimated 1% loss on each round-trip due to spread~1% of volume

Example Cost Calculation:

5 wallets × 10 brushes × 0.01 SOL volume = 0.5 SOL traded per wallet

Estimated slippage loss: ~1% = 0.025 SOL total

Service fee: 5 × 10 × 0.0001 = 0.005 SOL

Transaction fees: 5 × 20 × 0.00001 = 0.001 SOL

Total cost: ~0.031 SOL for 1 SOL of volume (per wallet)

📋

Step-by-Step Guide

Follow these steps to start generating volume:

1

Navigate to Volume Bot

Go to /volume-bot or select "Volume Bot" from the sidebar navigation.
2

Enter Token Address

Paste your token's mint address and select the DEX where liquidity exists. Click "Find Pool" to discover the liquidity pool.
3

Add Maker Wallets

Add wallet private keys using the "Add Wallet" button or bulk import. Fund each wallet with enough SOL for the volume you want to generate plus gas.
4

Configure Volume Settings

Set your volume amount per trade, number of brushing cycles, and whether to use random amounts. Configure the execution order pattern.
5

Set Timing

Configure the interval between trades. Random intervals make activity look more organic. Shorter intervals complete faster but look more artificial.
6

Choose MEV Settings

Decide whether to enable MEV protection. Set priority fees based on current network congestion.
7

Start Volume Brushing

Review the estimated costs in the fee breakdown. Click "Start Volume Brushing" to begin. Confirm the payment modal to proceed.
8

Monitor Progress

Watch the log panel for real-time updates on each trade. The bot will display success/failure status for every transaction.

💡

Tips & Best Practices

Natural Patterns

Use the ABABAB execution order and enable random volumes/intervals for the most organic-looking trading patterns.

Wallet Distribution

Spread your volume across 5-10 wallets. Too few wallets looks artificial, too many increases gas costs significantly.

Timing Matters

Run volume during active trading hours when other organic trades are happening. This makes your volume blend in better.

Start Small

Test with small amounts and few cycles first to ensure everything works correctly before running larger volume campaigns.

⚠️

Fund Wallets Properly

Ensure each wallet has sufficient SOL for all planned trades plus gas fees. Running out of SOL mid-cycle will cause trade failures.

⚠️

Token Must Have Liquidity

The volume bot requires an existing liquidity pool. It cannot trade tokens that haven't launched yet or have no liquidity.

💡

BSC Chain Considerations

When using BSC DEXs (PancakeSwap, Four.Meme), ensure your wallets are funded with BNB for gas fees. BSC transactions are generally cheaper than Solana but may have different confirmation times. Use BSC-compatible RPC endpoints for optimal performance.
